    not to get in the middle of the yj party but is the swap for the yj 4.0 the same as the xj 4.0. its the same motor isnt it? not sure thats y im asking?

        Ok. A 1993 Jeep Wrangler 4.0 part number is DL5511-6 and part number DL5511-6 for a 1993 Jeep Cherokee 4.0 at Autozone. So, your answer is yes The same.

            It will work, but you will need to spend some time with a dremel and a sanding drum. The case doesnt quite clear, so you have two options: Shave the case, or remove the casting flash from the bracket. I opted for the latter.
            An XJ will always cost you less then any girl ever will, and you will always know when the spark is gone.
