I bought my 1983 CJ5 last summer from the Shelburne Museum with 33,999.7 original miles on it.I haven't done much to it yet other than the heater motor upgrade and small items.I've been collecting bits and pieces to help it along:
Superior 1 piece rear axles
Trac-Lok for the AMC 20
Power steering box,brackets and shaft(need pump,pulley and hoses for 258)
Chrome diff cover for the Dana 30
Offenhauser Dual-Port intake w/400cfm Carter AFB
NP435 tranny(no adapter yet)
Weld in rollcage kit
4.0 head(need exhaust manifold and valve cover)
1" lift shackles for the front
Future plans include:
4.10 gears
Locker for the Dana 30
4" lift kit
34x9.50x15 Swamper TSL's on 15x7 white spoke wheels
12,000# front winch
power brakes
high back buckets....
....and on and on!!!
