Jess, the Rock Hard is a great kit plus you can buy it in sections and you won't break the bank all at once. I just ordered the rear section.

Look forward to your right up Matt. That Gen Rite cage looks awesome.
    Check out .

How do you pad that puppy? Or do you?
Right now, I don't. I'm going to do a little research into the type of "foam" or "padding" to use, and then just make some velcro/canvas things to fit around it.

Stickers make your decision? Damn, I should call GenRight... I didn't get a single sticker (or directions, for that matter).

Don't break the bank? Where's the fun in that?!

I'll let you all know as soon as the write up is ready! I am also thinking about type-setting it nicely in PDF if GenRight would be interested in buying it to ship with the cage .

The Refrigeration Industry uses a closed cell foam padding. Really nice stuff, not like the open cell padding you find at the DIY stores. It has a more rubber consistency. You will have to find a refrigeration supply house to get it though.

Sweet, thanks for the tip! That's the kind of information I'm going to need for this! :thumbs_up

I've never seen a refrigeration line that big. I'm sure they exist though, I've just never seen one. Grainger item?

Isn't that black self-sealing pipe insulation stuff a closed cell foam? I used some on my AC lines inside the cab and I remember that it didn't require any sort of cover over it even being in danger of being kicked.

Holy Carp Batman! What are you planning to do in that thing? There's enough tube to build a cage for me too! I just hope you're installing a "safe" child seat... :thumbs_up
