FWIW, I made mine tie into the top of the frame rails. I think that's even more important when they're using less real estate on the sides of the rails. Then again, depending upon what you do for roll cage tie-ins that may not be as critical.
Oh yeah, and you're going to need 5 more!holes = cowbell

Before you go stamping them out for production make all three on 1 side then copy them because they will all be different. I tied mine to the top of the frame as well. Gained about 2 inches of clearance at the frame. It's a fun project that you can do 1 at a time, and if you do it right you won't have any down time.You can lead a horse to water, but it might drown
