One of those BTF type truss tie-in lids would be a good complement to that truss. I'm guessing that's what you've got in mind?

Wouldn't be the first time we had to weld Nick's Jeep on the trail.

Well we'll see if we can eliminate that issue for the most part with the CJ. God I hope so...

            • I am getting this done is fits a spurts. I was hoping I'd be done today but I was in Bacon Heaven all day. Farmer John's bacon smoke house and packaging line. I smell like a slab of hickory smoked bacon. Glad Chuck is not where near...

                    • I doubt if we'll be doing the diff cover set up. Not a big fan... But ya neva know.

Little more done today. real work was slow this morning so i got out and fiddled a bit.

These holes will whistle Dixie in three octaves...

And completing the flow of the shape I return the middle piece from whence it came...

I tacked the nuts in place. One handed installation of the CAs is nice, specially in the field. Not that that will ever need to be done but... If Nick strips those nuts out then this CJ is in serious trouble.

                        • Truss is done except for the u brackets. It's probably gonna be a while before I install it on the axle so I threw some ugly black primer on it so it won't rust.

                            • Rear 4 link is complete. After a quick fit up I removed it to work on the frame some more. looks like the back half of the frame is coming off to make some modifications that will help with the ride height, shock mounting location and body mounting.

                              More tomorrow...
                              Making Nick do work...

Custom 4 link bolt on suspension... Hell yes.

The truss is off center a lot more than needed here but it will be off center slightly when installed.
