      Also had a Spider 9 rear axle put in, after that you could make this thiong flop by hitting the gas and touching the steering felt like it had terrible rear roll steer. Then we added a rear Genright Sway bar which is very stiff. Where it flexed good onto one my 40" tires before now it will lift a rear tire about 6-8" of the ground. Would be nice to fix the cause of the roll steer and then use a lighter rear sway bar. The thing did good in the desert they were running 70- 80 mph in the desert having a ball.
      Thing is my home built put put Jeep with just a Currie rear anti rock, behaves it self considerably better. Going to have him take measurements and figure out what is off

      We are comparing apples and oranges here (TJ vs LJ) so the wheelbase is different but I did notice that it would be fairly easy to wind up without enough separation between upper and lower control arms out back when installing the Clayton. I had to take copious measurements before I took the old suspension off to make sure I was landing all the components in the correct locations.
      Another thing; Clayton uses RH thread JJs all around, which as you know makes it a lot more difficult to to tune the suspension, not to mention that those square control arms will want to roll if they get dragged over a rock, so that can change the suspension without you even knowing it.

        I have a 2005 LJ I'm looking to put a lift on it I was wondering how yours has held up and if you would have done anything differently. Thanks!

          I installed the Clayton kit for a guy here on MJR. He hasn't been around for while so I have no idea how to get hold of him. He mentioned in this thread, and I can can confirm, that after the install the ride characteristics improved as far as body roll. He said it handled better on and off road. But like I said, it's been a while and I've not heard from him so who knows if that still applies. Others don't have the same experience and I would suggest that no matter what kit you decide to go with, make sure you have someone install it that knows what they are doing. The Clayton kit was fairly straight forward but the placement of the parts is critical. I think that might have something to do withe the negative comments I've read about the Clayton kit. Geometry is everything with the suspension so it's got to be spot on. Good luck with your build.
