If you've ever read through _all_ of section 12000, it's pretty apparant that the intent is to keep it out of arms reach - but interpret it any way you feel like....

Might want to download a picture of the business end of a Beretta 92 if you're going to try that logic with LAPD though, because I'm 99.99999% sure that will be what you'll see within 10 seconds after your first traffic stop

like i said i don't usually have a gun in it its for storage and to keep people out of it.

FYI: my father in law is a la county sheriff, both of my bro are in law enforcement also, my uncle is the police chief of Oakland. so i asked them and they said don't worry about it. as long as i don't carry a load gun in there i am good. but i cant stress the fact i use it for a glove box more then anything. just thought it looked cool and was strong and safe solution to getting my stuff stolen.

i thin that we have had enough of this post so i am done let it go. its just for storage!

I'm pretty sure that EVERYWHERE in a Wrangler is within arm's reach. When I go shooting, I carry a rifle. There is no complete enclosure for that thing. BLM guys just tell me to keep the ammo locked up and away from the weapon and all is good. As long as you disclose exactly what you have on a traffic stop, you're fine. You've gone above and beyond to secure your weapon and that will be smiled upon.

PS: is there any mods any one wants to see on my jeep or shop? or anything you would like to see me do?
Why don't you post a list of mods in a poll thread (it's an option when creating a new thread) and we'll vote for the ones we want to see.
