Yep. heres a pic from the underside of the front.

Here are a bunch of random pics of the back brackets and fenders. Excuse all the dirt. I was wheeling all weekend

If you need anything specific, just let me know.

Hey Gunny, Great pics! Thanks. That helps alot. I had a feeling they had gussets in there to hold the sheet metal on, but like I said, sometimes I'm about as observant as a blind sniper's spotter...

      Thanks again

I will still send you some pictures Kurt, That looks a little different than mine. Or maybe those braces i see are on the back fenders. My front ones had some play in them when i fell into them, so i welded a tube to connect the inner and outer feners together to make them one piece for more strengh. Kurt you should make some kind of brace so when you fall into a rock with the fender it is solid.

          Stuart,
I'm leaving mine removeable. The only reason I'm making these damn flares is so I stop getting pulled over on the street. Otherwise, when I hit the trail, the flares come off.
Thanks for sending the pics. Your da man...

                    A little bit further along...

Things are going slowwwwly, but I had time at work today (Sunday) to get some things accomplished.

Made templates for the rear fenders

This is what they'll look like, sort of, when I get the final fenders made.

Painted of course. Next task: front templates and mounting tabs all around.

Now that's what I'm talking about! You ROCK Kurt. Must be sweet to be able create something like that with your own hands. Shoot I get a sense of accomplishment just washing the jeep and doing the most minor of maintainance on mine! I need to hang out with you more . . . maybe some of your knowledge and knowhow will rub off.

I was told by rev folks that someone is getting the rights to manufacture metal cloak stuff but they did not say who or when.i can see why they stopped making them, veey labor intensive, hard to manufacture = hard to sell at a reasonable price.

I would actually pay what they wanted for these. these are wicked. all the other tube fenders look alike. Every time I see these I am jealous. Jeep virgin's almost came up missing at nightmare gulch.
