    what is the gear ratio of a np231 transfercase in lo and what would thecrawl ratio be with 4.56 gears this for a 92 yj with ax15 manual trans

    2.73 I think.

    3.83 x 2.73 x 4.56 = 47.68:1 ish.

    those numbers are off the top of my head, I'm pretty sure they're close.

          I prefer to use the Rock Crawling Index (RCI) which gives a better indicator of how your Jeep will perform... check out:
