  • Pressing Wheel Bearings

I have a D44 shaft I need to press the wheel bearings and stuff on to. Anyone in the SoCal area have a press big enough for this that wouldn't mind helping me out?

that is some funny chit. Rick should recognize the shaft, he's already removed a bearing set from it. :yay:

I have a press big enough for this job, but its a lot easier to slide a pipe over the shaft and hit it with a hammer.
It's not what you have. it's what you do with what you have.

I like that idea plus its a lot cheaper to buy some pipe than drive to Apple Valley or Temecula.
