  • CEL, Code...

    I got a CEL on my '03 TJ, 4.0L.
    P0122
    TPS/Pedal Position Sensor A Circuit
    Low Input

Anyone know what & where I should check?

    TIA

    How is it running?

I'd suggest cleaning or replacing the TPS. Some info here:

It runs fine. Idles good and it doesn't sound bad. Throttle response normal. I'll follow what they did in the JF. with the TPS.

      Thanks

PS, Ever since the hack at Jeep Forum & Wrangler Forum happened, I haven't been able to reset my passwords or login. I'm probably jumping through the wrong hoops. Maybe I need to sneak under them.

Update on the TPS. I finally replaced it. With much effort and a second torx socket driver on hand, also a make it or break it attitude, the screws broke free. It's been about 2 months and so far so good, no code.

Got the same code. Cleaning the electrical connector in the TPS assembly solved the issue.
