engines have ran for atleast 60 years with points,a coil and a plain old mechanical distributor, no reason why this one doesn't.
You got to figure out what is wrong, just throwing parts at it is costly and the process of fixing something that way is arbitrary at best Neil

Folks, IF a points type ing. was all that great, why hasn't any car maker used them in 25+ yrs.
They were a well known problem area.
SWAG: I'm starting to feel that the OP is having an ele. supply issue(can't make enough)too.
His fan isn't doing the job either.
Sure would like to get a "hands-on" to be sure.
Respectfully,
LGHav'n you along, is like loose'n 2 good men....

If they are pited or melted that is not a good thing. Somtimes you can renew them with sand paper instead of buying a new set, try it out. It's not leaking it's marking its territory.

I am not sure about the condenser it is the stock autozone replacement. I should have the pertronics installed this weekend. I will post what happens then. Hope this fixes it. I only need it to run long enough for me to build a 350 to replace the 302.It's not leaking it's marking its territory.
