I think going to 35" tires was more work and money then it was worth.
Glad to hear that! Thanks for the feedback.

No Ron the 6 speed has less overdive than the 5 speed, so on a 5 speed ax15 or nv3500 you would probably be about 200 to 300 rpm lower. 4.56 or 4.88 gears and 35" tires both make a sweet setup for 35's.
I have driven more than a few 6 cyl Jeeps with that setup and they drive well on the highway gearing wise and crawl pretty good in the dirt.
Actually I ran 4.56 gears and 32" tires for awhile and that worked pretty well also, did not like that gearing with 31's, but worked ok with 32" tires

Thanks for the update and input Art. Not ready to do it yet, but I am thinking after the stroker project going to 35's. I am wondering if I will need to re-gear after I do that with the increased power. Well see.

haven't been on the freeway yet and am breaking them in but they feel great!!! I am guessing that my jeep will actually run more in the zone in the city! Definately notice the low end strength! My jeep feels like its on steroids!!! My guess is that 5th will now be useable on the freeways and while i may cruise at a more elevated rpm the power is worth it!!! After I got rollin my first thought was....Hmmmmm maybe i should've gone 5.13's!!!!!!!!! Can't wait to hit the trails!!!

I've been on 31's 33's and now 35's and I would have to say my jeep is more capable than it's ever been.....maybe made wheelin a bit easier but LOVIN this set-up!!

hit the freeways yesterday with the new gear set-up and it's perfect. 70mph at 2500rpm in 5th and still with passing power!!!!! and let's face it....drive a lifted rig on 35's any faster than that and it isn't rpm's you're gonna be worried about :omg::omg::omg:

the gear set up is great in town too...i just can't wait to get my 500 miles of break in logged so i can hit some trails!!!!
