    Amen, the newer ARB's are just as strong a Detroit.
    Same goes for the OX, I just like flipping a switch better. Try to stay away from the older ARB locker for the Dana 30 due to the housing flexing it will keep braking the bolts that hold the locker housing together.
    The newer design is a lot beefier and fixes that flaw.
    So does some trussing of the axle, would most likely prolong gear life also.

      I wheeled 2 years on a Lincoln locker. It climbed well, steering sucked. The previous owner welded it, home-made spool.
      That was a CJ with hubs so I did not fight it all the time. A YJ with a spool would suck on the road without hubs.
      Go with the selectable locker.

        I plan on using an Aussie in front on my YJ. If the stearing binds I'll just slide the vacume disconnect collar over and I'll be in three wheel drive. Maybe that will only help in right hand turns. Well see.
