Well i was being taunted by a friend that his 05 VW Turbo diesel jetta was fasted than my jeep.
After about an hour of him taunting me i decided to run him to shut him up.
When i launched i noticed a slight pop. When I cherped 2nd, another pop.
After that i didnt hear anything.
Now i did beat him in about a 1/8 mile race by about 4 car's.
When i was heading home at the end of the night which is about 12 mile's i didnt hear any noise from the rear end at all.
BUT when i pulled into my complex i heared a pop, pop, BANG!
Then i felt the slip but i made it to my driveway.
I had a question.
I used to own a 05 ranger edge with the 8.8 4.10.
I have heared many good thing's about these axle's.
If i were to find one at a wrecking yard about how much would it be and how difficult is the install. Do the perch's match up? same U-Joint's?
What is needed to do this?
Also should i change out the 30 or keep it?
I am kind of low on cash right now so the cheaper the better!
Also i am running 33 12.50-15 TSL's.
