back halfing the roof

Hey XJKevin. I did pretty much the same thing to mine earler this year. If you want some thoughts on the back area, go back to Photobucket, and look under IJIR. Oh, and hint,hint, you "might" want to make some panels to close off the areas above/behind the wheelwells- they collect all kinds of junk, and quickly. ( Ask me how I know...)

Used an X-polder hatch as it was free, and the window opens (favorite mod of all, so far...)

How I "tucked" the rear "hoop" from the hatch under the roof to help support everything.

im goin just a bit of a different rout with mine, it should be done friday so ill have some pics, mines gonna be caged theres no way id drive it with no cage right know, its a bit flimsy, looks good thanks//Kevin

Flimsy... that is exactly why I replaced the hoop from the hatch into the roof. I look forward to seeing pix of yours. It is always nice to see a different approach to the same idea.
