Welcome to MJR! I was just in your area today. My wife and I ran Rowher and Lookout Trails. I hope to see you out on the trails soon. Bring the truck if you don't have the XJ yet.

The Dodge is my Daily driver and would be rather expensive to fix if something happened to it. However I do like to run mild trails with it... The Chevy is carbuerated but it has been to Rowher up the nasty hill climbs between campsite 1 and 2 up past the second climb ( the one with the nasty rock in it) and up the trail after the second campsite. As I said it is carbuerated and it was a hell of ride going up and even worse coming down it was starved for fuel going up and flooded coming down. It stalled out a couple of times and I had to control it with no power steering and no power brakes like I said a hell of a ride. I actually blew the tranny the 3rd time on the trail after the 2nd site and had to tow it out. I wasn't about to let it become like the other truck up there. I walked all the way down to site 2 until I got cell service to call a buddy. But it's fixed now and I am trying to sell it to get an XJ.

I wish you luck and speed on the sale. The Chevy looks like a fun beast. I bet you can sell it fairly quickly. Until then, bring it on out! I'm sure that we can something more level than Rowher :haha:
