  • Greetings from the Idaho rockies-

New member, New Jeep. Just bought an '04 Rubicon, my first jeep. Bone stock, dual top, black on black. Had it two weeks, happy with it so far. Haven't had it on a trail yet, but can't wait.

    Pete

Yup, there's about 6" where these photos were taken, and hopefully there will be several feet in the near future. It'll be interesting to see how the jeep does on my daily 30 mile round trip commute on the ice. No salt here on the roads, thankfully. Here's another shot-

                  Chuck-

I go to Stanley regularly, my folks have a place over there. I've been going to Redfish Lake for about 36 years, my folks moved to the area when I was 6 months old. True Native I suppose.

                  You ever go there?

                  Pete

                    Hi Pete,

I've been there several times. My wifes relative, Bob Danner owns Stanley Air Taxi. Do you know Bob & Dia?

Last time we were visiting we had a great lunch at Redfish Lake.

If you find youself over there stop in and tell him Chuck and Alisa say hi.

That ski resort has to be Silver Mountain

I think that the ski resort is Silver Mountain in Wallace Idaho. Or it could be Lookout.

I live in the area, but im not postive.
I live in Coeur D'Alene Idaho

Nope, it's Sun Valley, Idaho. Sun Valley is in Central Idaho, about 9 hours or so from Coeur D' Alene. I went to school at U of I, and had friends who lived in your neck of the woods. Did alot of water skiing on Fernan Lake. Nice area.

                        Pete

Here's a few shots taken about a week ago, playing in the snow.

I see you got snow !

We got some snow, only about 3 feet in the mountains though. All the snow on ground but maybe 6 inches has melted in the valleys. We have had almost 3 feet in the city, although, much more has fallen in the mountains.

Check out our trail ride just from last week, and you will see how much snow we have gotten.

                          Darn website went down. grrr
