  • Just another Jeep in Texas

Howdy from the Texas Panhandle. Looking for buddies to wheel with me and my wife. I bought this jeep over a year ago. Now it's finished. It's been through the Rockies in Colorado and New Mexico, all over Moab during the Easter Jeep Safari and we're hoping to go to go to Katemcy Rocks over Memorial Day. It's a 2003 Rubicon. We put a 5 1/2" Rubicon Express Lift, Warn gas tank skid and a skidplates.com belly plate under it. Poison Spyder bumpers and a Warn winch. Enjoy the pics from Moab - we ran Cliffhanger, Hells Revenge and Behind the Rocks.

Wow! Sweet pics! We've been jeepin Moab for the past few years now. This past year we teamed it up with Montrose & Ouray - loved it! Maybe you recognize this Montrose trail...

I don't know about El Dorado Canyon, but Lions Back was shut down and I really wanted to run that one. We did - what is it - "baby lions back??" at the start of Hells Revenge. Pretty sweet. I wish it was the real deal, but the smaller shorter one was enough to get my attention. That trail at Montrose looks S-W-E-E-T!!

No, I meant El Dorado Canyon outside of Lubbock.

Man, I've lived in Lubbock nearly my whole life and I've never heard of El Dorado Canyon. Are you sure?

Thanks for the welcome. I have been subscribed for quite a while. This forum is awesome for tech! I am building a 'CJ-7 right now. The Rubicon will soon be my wife's dig. The '76 will be the big dog, soon enough anyway (I hope). It started life as a lowley quadrajunk, but every upgrade she's getting closer to becoming something. Anyway - your site rocks too. Thanks.
