No I had a 69 CJ5 as a teen and a 91 wrangler (4 banger POS) several (more like 10) years ago.

But this is the first time I have intentions on using it for serious wheeling.

as a child my Dad would take us on events like these at Salton Sea, they made for fond memories and I look forward to sharing those with my kids too.

Thanks everybody to answer a few questions:

My kids are 13 (boy) and 7 (girl) and are really into the whole jeep thing too.


as far as the jeep being too clean thing well...





we met some MJR folks up in Calico for the breakin and the stock rubicon really impressed me we ran both ODDESSA & DURAN without too many complications (stacked rocks in a few locations) had some great spotters and a good co pilot. Made for a great time
