i have never been "rock crawling". i live in alberta, canada.....eh, and i dont know where to go. hell i dont even know how well my baby would handle it. im more of a muddy mountain trail guy but i would like brooded my skills, and well rock crawling seems to be the next step. and as much as i would love it going down to cali (would be wonderful), im stuck in the cold. any albertans or even anyone from BC have an good places for a begginer??

Canada's got mountains right? I live in the appalachians in the southern US, and we've got some great rock crawling. It's typically all uphill, but it's really fun. We run mountain trails too...but it's usually down the side of a mountain. See if you can't find any canadian based jeep forums, canada's a big place so there is bound to be plenty of trails!! It may not be the dry crazy offroad rock crawling like in Cali, but i'm sure that there are some trails up there that will put your rig to its limits. There are those everywhere.
