  • Hello

Just registerd. I have an 88 yj with 2.5L 5 speed manual tranny. I am in the process of putting on a 4" RE lift and 32" tires.

You all have a nice site, keep up the good work

          Dude...if you can get a 2.5L to pull 32" tires....tell me how...cause I got a '91 2.5L YJ....and yeah....from what I can tell, they have trouble pulling 31's in 5th gear.

^ Get your gearing changed and put a 4.7 Stroker in it, It pull more than those tires.

thanks for the warm welcome. I did get my lift completed and have test drove the yj. I did lose dome power with the 32' tires, but am still able to use 5th on the flat freeway and get up to 70 mph. Overll the ride has improved, I think the old springs were tired and warnout.
