^.^ Thankies, I actually bought it like that. I'm restoring it...then I'ma juice it up with a few modifications...like Headers, Borla Exhaust, Dynomax Glasspacks, K&N air Filter, K&N CAI, 29" TRUXS by Super Swamper, 8000lb Winch, and a new bumper...haven't decided yet. Maybe put some Light Guards...Euro Style is what I like right now. BTW, anybody know the stock Horsepower on the 2.5L I4?

So like my dad's '02 Wrangler TJ APEX package is out of commission...and we have no idea what's wrong with it. Probably a bad Oxygen Sensor...but oh well. Any ideas on how I could possibly beef up my wittle 4 banger into something that would pull its own weight on the trails?

I think the stock HP for the 2.5L 4 banger is about seventeen horses, but by the time you add all of those things you mention above, you should get up to 19.5 horses! Seriously though, I've heard that most if not all of those things aren't really going to do much for you except empty your wallet...maybe other can chime in here as well.

*sigh* I WANT an AMC 304...but I can hang that up cause I'll never be able to find the money. I could get the straight 6 but that'll cost me over a grand...so yeah...I gotta stick with what i've got, ya know?

Congrats on your new Jeep. Just remember what JEEP stands for now that you've gotten the fever

I don't say this like it's a bad thing. There is just way too much stuff to make your JEEP a bigger kiss-ass ride.
