All around newbie

Hey everyone. I'm Darrin and I'm new to this site as well as to owning a JEEP. I have a 1994 Cherokee 2dr., 4cyl. 5spd. I tell you what... this thing rocks. So far it is stock... I think. I do know that it has a K&N filter and a cyclone throttle body riser, and possibly has been chipped. Many cool new things are in store for it. Such as a lift, tires, bumpers, winch, lights, rock sliders...all those little goodies. Any suggestions are welcome here.

you'll need all you can get with a 4-cyl. you ought to look into superchargers to get some life out of the little squrrels under there

welcome to the board...start poking around the "long wheelbase" and "4-bangers" sections to get yourself some info as you start rigging it up.

Jeeps have the ability to suck you in and drain your wallet dry. XJ's are awesome, but more difficult to build up.

Im sure some of the Short Bus guys will pipe up here shortly...

I don't know of any particular company that offers any engine ups...but my co-worker does and he is trying to locate his resources for me. As soon as he finds out I'll let you know.

There aren't a whole lot that I could find. Most of it is intake and exaust. Finding performance heads and stuff just doesn't happen. It's all I6 and V8 if you want those. Turbos and superchargers come fore hte 4 cyl, and AEM makes a Cold Air Intake for the 2.5L. Throttle body spacers, performance chips, Borla Headers, Exaust tubing, and other little stuff it about all you're gonna get. But after all that you should be well enough to put out about as much Hp as a stock I6...or maybe a tad bit more.
