    Im Not too New But heres My XJ...

    Ive been around MJR for a while and made some good friends here. I thought it was about time to show off my XJ.
    Well Here it is stock as it can be...

    I had to get rid of that old suspension so i used basically all of my left over financial aid money from college and then some (shhh dont tell UCR haha) so that I could put an RE 4.5" Super-Flex Kit, and RE SYE, RE CV Driveshaft, and Procomp ES3000 Shocks.
    Here it is in the morning before CJBrian and I started working on it. Thats Brian's 85 CJ.

    Heres the XJ on Jack Stands no tires and ready to get to rockin.

    Heres the Cut for the SYE and then the SYE put on it. Looks good all red and chrome.

    Here it is at 11:00 at night (we started at 8:00 in the morning) 15 HOURS! Lots of freakin work. Check the difference in height since the begining of the day.

    And heres the final pic... I popped my cherry with CJBrian and Rat Patrol on 2N17X, 2N33 with the little bonuses, 2N28Y which was cool, and some other little stuff. This pic is on 2N17X.

    Hope you guys like my XJ theres still a bunch of stuff i need to do with it. (or want to do to it i guess theres a difference haha)

      Looks good with the new wheels and tire. I can't take the waiting. My lift kit is sitting on a pallet at the shop waiting for my CJ to sell, so I can fund the rest of the build-up.

            I just graduated UCR... I didn't have any $$$ from them though, only gave it. Where do you live? What was your major? Let's go wheelin! (My jeep's stock (mostly)).

              haha I got the H2 recovery team decals from eBay believe it or not haha and sure id love to go wheeiling... Im going into my 2nd year at UCR this fall and im an Electrical Engineering Major. I live in Running Springs during the summer and when im at school i live at UV Towers off the 60 fwy. My girlfriends sister lives in San Marcos which is pretty close to you. Any secret wheelin spots down there?

                    Sweet when i go back in september, we can go wheelin out there have you gone out on those trails off of Watkins i think it is, you can see it off the 60 its pretty fun out there believe it or not. haha i always do night runs out there.

                        haha yeah somtimes it buggs me cause it takes up a little room, but if you like music, you'll like the spaceships haha.

                          Not that I know of... if your friend in San Marcos knows of any, please do share! You should go to the big bear meet & greet the 18th - 20th...

                            San Marcos? Yeah...know the area. We used to ride the hills just north of there along the 15. They are trying to keep us out while they start work in some of the area. But we find ways. Other than that, I am not knowing locally, but still looking.
                            Nate Harrison Grade is a nice trip up the west face of Palomar, its a fire road access. Up the 15 by Lake Elsinore is a nice fire road that goes for miles along the ridge to Santiago Peaks which is really scenic! I highly recommend that one, but again not much of a challenge for a jeep.
