Made my first run over the John Bull trail on 6/10/06 in my 04 "X" with a couple of friends in heavily modified Jeeps. My Jeep is mostly stock with a 4" pro-comp suspension lift, 33" tires Rubicon Express disconnects and new 4.56 gears front and rear and un-locked. Made it over the trail with very little problems due to some great spotting and great friends. We also went up to Butler Peak the following day and the views were breath taking. This was my first time to BB and I know I'll be back real soon

anyways, JB is a fun trail (as well as all the others in BB). My personal fav is Holcomb Creek. I can do all these trails in my stock TJ, no lift, open diffs, so don't worry about trying to tackle the "difficult" trails without lockers. all you need is some good spotting and good driving and you can make it out with (only minor) damage...
Also looks like you're one of my closer "locals" from SoCal. Torrance is just a stone's throw from my doorstep. hope to see you on the trails soon, Cheers.
PS you should both try to make it to the "meet and greet" this saturday, with a trail run in the afternoon. should be a lot of fun.03 TJ. It'll go 65mph...can't complain.

Fish are biting
Would love to go to the meet and greet this weekend but the albies and the bluefin are biting just 50 miles north of San Diego. Fishing beckons and i'm heeding the call. This trip has been planned for a year and no way out of it now........fresh albacore and tuna for the next meet and greetRick
