  • Newbie With 2 Door XJ

Hey everyone! I'll make this quick I'm Rick, 23 years old, I live and work in West Chester, Pennsylvania. I am on my 2nd Jeep, 4th Mopar vehicle. My first Jeep was a '90 YJ which I owned for 2 years. My current Jeep is a '91 body, '93 engine, '01 trans, etc., 2 door XJ. I purchased it stock back in October and have since gone crazy on it. Here's a good before/after comparison:

    Here's my list of mods:
    -'93 XJ 4.0L - 75k miles
    -'01 XJ NV3550 - 75k miles
    -Centerforce Stage II clutch
    -RE1062 62mm TB
    -K&N FIPK Kit
-Custom projector headlights with Sylvania Silver Star H4 bulbs
    -4.5" Rubicon Express Superflex
-1" Energy Suspension front coil spring isolators
-Old Man Emu long travel shocks
-RE Gen II sway bar discos
    -New upper control arm bushings
-33x12.50x15" Dunlop Radial Mud Rovers (From the YJ)
    -15x8" Cragar 397's (soft 8's)(From the YJ)
    -2 black KC Daylighters - 150 watts & 385,000 candlepower each
-HP30/D44 sitting in my buddies garage with 3.55's. I currently have 3.07's and a HP30/D35
    -ETC!

I have a good list of other parts I'll be throwing on there in the future, but I just moved out on my own .. so I gotta pay rent now

I have some wheeling pics in these albums:
    http://www.jeeps-offroad.com/reader-...-New-Years-Day
    http://www.jeeps-offroad.com/reader-...heeling-1-7-08
    http://gallery.jerryhorn.com/newyearsrun

Those should be enough to entertain you for a while.. Just went wheeling again yesterday and did some decent damage: Cracked my windshield in 3 places, ripped off my passenger side mirror, broke the driver side mirror, put a big dent on the passenger side, ripped off my rear bumper rubber piece on the passenger side, bent up the bumper so I can barely open the hatch, ripped off a KC light guard, put a hole in a tire, bent the sway bar disco mounts on the axle, etc.. I'll have pics and video's of yesterday up shortly

I also have a '92 Dodge Dakota which runs 12.7's in the 1/4. I love that thing as well, but I am trying to sell it so I can work on the money pit some more. Here's two pics of the Dakota and my old YJ:

It's pretty cool ... I had more compliment on my XJ in the first 2 weeks of owning it than I did with my YJ over the course of 2 years. Trying to do the XJ right.

If anyone has any questions or whatever, feel free to ask.

                Haha thanks everyone...

There are currently 3.07's in there now. I blew up my 35, so my 44 is going in. It's got 3.55's and I have a matching HP30 as well. I was going to regear with 4.56's and lockers front/rear, but don't have all the cash at this time.

Thank you! You used to live here? Those wheeling pics were mainly in Bucks County and the NJ Pine Barrens.

cali weather is nice, no complaints here.
call me crazy, but at times i kind of miss pennsylvania (... like when i'm stuck in bumper to bumper traffic ).
