Yes I am still in Iraq. I am on the road a lot....but in my humvee. Thank god we havent gotten stuck with it. The thing weighs 11,000lbs My driver was actually able to (not on purpose) drift the rearend around a sharp turn we took. It was amazing!!! those things are not supposed to do that haha. But it has held up the whole time I have used it here (10months) and i cant ask for more.
We actually had to go offroad a bit for a patrol the other day, i was able to find some really great mud!!!! That is pretty rare around here, at least for this time of year. The muddy season is commin REALLY soon and as soft and fine as the sand is (its like baby powder) that should make it interesting for us, especially my big trucks (5ton cargos and tractor/trailers)
It looks like we should be home around the end of Dec. Guess who getting himself a TON of Jeep gifts
Ok enough about Iraq, i could go on for days about this place
