im new here and i have an 83 cj7 and need some info i have replaced every thing on the ignition from the module to the coil distributor cap rotor i have changed it all and still do not have fire i have 12 volts coming out of the coil but no spark does anyone have any suggestions thanks

Welcome! Since it's all new, make sure the rotor and cap are seated correctly. Next, make sure you have the firing order correct and the plug wires starting at the right terminal on the cap. Also, check the polarity to the coil. If it's reversed your coil will not deliver full power.God forgives, rocks don't

Hint: the troubleshooting charts indicate that you should NOT have battery voltage at the coil primary terminal. It gives some suggestions on where to check for opens and shorts in the primary circuit.If you don't like the way I drive, stay out of the bushes!
