  • Fresh From Downunder

And a big hello to everyone in what looks a very friendly site. I am new to Jeeping and this type of 4wd though not new to trail blazing. Previously my off road adventures were confined to Quads of which I had a Polaris 850 sportsman which I used mainly for exploring most weekends, that was until recently when doing a 900k Rally and 200k into it I become suddenly upside down with a broken arm, the old adage of "with age comes a cage" springs instantly to mind. The Quad is now parked up and I have a 1976 CJ6 as well as a 1999 Wrangler TJ basically stock. The CJ is for a long term project though it is in good running condition, probably better than the TJ, while the TJ is a basic stock Auto that has some neglect from the previous owner but is now my daily driver with plans on upgrading and modifying, can't help myself the bug has bit . Hence how I came across your Forum in my search for ideas and advice and what better place to search for advice than the Jeeps homeland where there is plenty of experience. Though Jeep is getting popular here, I see more on the road every day, the depth of experience lies elsewhere, which brings me to this point of information gathering and learning and hopefully to share in some fun times and our trails downunder.

Welcome to MJR, I'll beat Roger to the punch and just let you know that you found the best Jeeping site on the planet. Seriously, these folks on here are awesome. I've got friends in all over your neck of the woods as well. They keep telling me to get my butt over there to visit and surf, yet I haven't done it. Maybe next year.

Thanks for the welcome folks, been a while since I've had time to sit and post though checked in a few times.
Pictures I don't have a great deal of, but will post the couple I do have.

A few off the jeep on a run up into the Perth hills. Since purchase and these photos I had added the front bar, rear bar and tyre carrier, spots and winch.
Since then I have added rock sliders, 33's and snorkel kit which I installed today.
For those who want to see my CJ the only pic I have is this, shes at the front of my Truck with my other gear to take out to the block. Hopefully I'm out there in a couple of weeks time so I'll get better shots then.

Thank you Jason, it's a 2010 International Eagle, just upgraded from a Scania and heaps more grunt.
