Michigan - new Jeep owner

Just bought my first Jeep!

Ive been a truck guy all my life and just purchased a 2000 TJ. It has a lot of cosmetic mods, but drive train is mostly stock (with exception of 35 12.50 15 MTR/K and 4 inch skyjacker lift). Jeep cant get out of its own way right now with the 3.07 gears and these big tires. I couldn't even tell you if 5th gear works on the trans with this setup but I am already working on a new set of axles and gears to bring her along.

Im looking forward to what I can do with this new project.

For the record I didn't place the purty red paint on clamps and the diff covers. These will be redone when the weather gets nicer out

And I think the snorkel will come off also. For now Im just looking into a set of stronger axles as I like the look of the 35's on it.

gears are a must! Its either that or 6BT it so I can turn these tires over...
