new from Vista

Hello everyone my name is Albes and I currently own a 1993 Jeep YJ " La Cucarcha" that I bought totaled last year during my senior year of high school. I have recently painted it and got the seats re-upholstered Since then I have been making it a reliable daily driver and now it is where the fun begins. I plan on swapping the 2.5 for an ls1, I have already gotten a 5.7 iron block from a truck at the junkyard and swapping the axles. It is still a work in progress but hope to learn from this website and meet people to go on trails because I have only taken it out to Ocotillo.

When I bought it the fender, grill, hood, bumper, the leaf spring with the mounts, shock and also the radiator where bent, so I replaced them all and sent her of for new paint.
