  • Hello

I just moved to Ft Irwin from Georgia. I've been offroading for about 23 years and in jeeps for 10. I've got an 06 unlimited rubicon. It's lifted and on KM2 tires.

Looking forward to meeting some new people and getting out on the trails.

Sweet!!! Right around the corner from some awesome wheeling! Calico is where we're having the big event/Meet n Greet at the end of the month. How perfect is that?!

KM2's..you have the new ones? I've been going back and forth on those and the MTR's for my next set of tires. I currently roll on Mickey's MTZ's, which I love, but the KM2's and MTR's are rated better for crawling..

Hope you can make it out the weekend of the 30th!

                Hi Dean,

Welcome to MJR, this is a great forum with some really good people. Unlike you, Im quite new to wheeling but I've had the pleasure to wheel with some of the folks from here and have enjoyed every run.

We hope to meet you on a trail sometime soon.

Welcome aboard Dean! Welcome to Cali too! What part of GA are ya'll from? I have moved here several times and plan to stay this time but I am originally from north of Atlanta. The wheelin' here is different, but awesome to do. Come to IDTT at the end of March. It is a great way to meet many MJR folks in a really great place to wheel.

Thanks for all the warm welcomes! I will definitelytry to come to that event. We are having our household goods delivered tomorrow, so hopefully our house will be in order and I can get a kitchen pass. I came here from Columbus, GA about 1.5hrs south of Atlanta. I have crawled just about everything GA, NC, TN, AL had to offer. I might not have made it up every obstacle, but I've had my wheels on it. This seems like a great group.

Welcome to MJR! I'd be intersted in some pics of the Jeep as well, and maybe a link to some shots of the trails the South has to offer.

It was great to meet some of you at Calico last weekend. I don't have an online picture account so I'm not sure how to post pics of my jeep and the wheeling the southeast has to offer. Southernjeeps.org and offcamber4wd.org are a couple fo the jeep clubs I was in and they have some trail ride reports with pictures.
