  • The Scrambler rises from the ashes! ...or at least I got another one. :-)

For those of you that didn't see the thread about the death of the Scrambler, you can see that here:

Saturday, I replaced The Limo with an even better one!

I've got some little mods to do to it before I take it out. I'll post pics of it after the changes have been made, but wanted to post pics of what it looked like when I got it.

I'm happy to have found this one in under a month from the accident!

You'll be seeing it on a trail near you soon!

      It's an '85.

It's got a Jasper 4.2 engine with about 3,000 miles on it and Howell Fuel injection. It's an automatic, which I eventually plan to change to a stick (SM420).

Truth be told, I've always wanted a red Jeep. Since the last thing on my list of things I wanted on a Jeep was the color, the Jeeps that I've bought in the past just weren't red. I'm happy to have found this one in under a month from the accident!

I saw this one about a year ago when driving down Bouquet Canyon around Saugus and thought it looked great. Imagine my surprise when I found out it was now for sale!

The CJ8 is by far my favorite jeep EVER! Probably because my now father in law let me drive his when I took his daughter to prom. He still has that Scrambler; and he still lets me drive it! It's the reason I went with the 05LJ.
