Hello all,
Forced Brad here. I am new to MJR and to extreme trails. I bought my TJ new in San Fran 2002. Picked up and a drove it down to Los Angeles the very next week and been in the area ever since.
I really have not upgraded until about 2 years ago and that has just been a lift and 33's. My TJ has been tested and pushed to the limits of it's stock capabilities. The challenge and thrill of proving it can handle trails past it's ability has only produced minor damage... Well, a broken mirror and a punctured fuel tank... Yeap, Factory skid plate through the tank at 1 year old... Believe it or not the dealership fixed it under warranty. Abuse never tasted so sweet.
After lifting it and putting the 33's on it I have the bug. Next on the list are lockers and a gear ratio change. Lack of power after the 33's kind of sucks.
Can't wait to get to know everyone. Would love to get out on some moderate trails with you or even tag along as a passenger on a difficult trail for the learning experience if someone is willing.
Well I think I have rambled enough.
See ya on the trail,
Brad
