  • Hello MJR!

I'm new to the forum thing. I've been wheel'n since 96', with The Roughwheelers out of Redondo Bch. I currently live in Gardena. I joined MJR so I can read and learn a little about my new (to me) 03 Rubicon. I've had my 95' YJ for 15 years. Ask me anything about how to build a YJ and I can probably give you a couple of options. The TJ is a whole new animal. Can't wait til the YJ is sold so I can put all the money into the TJ. See Ya on the trail.
It was like that when I got here.

            Thanks for the warm welcome.

I know I'm new here, so I hope you don't mind but I need to vent.

I went to show my YJ to someone to sell. They make it sound like they can't wit to buy it. So, you take the night off work (lost money) and then they don't know what they want. IF YOU WANT A BEACH JEEP. DON'T WASTE MY TIME! (That wasn't at anyone, just shouting in the air.) He just wanted a jeep that looked cool, and didn't care about any of the upgrades. He asked me. "If I'm never gonna take it off-road should I get smaller tires?" It sucks when you need the money tho. I didn't sell it to him. Thanks that helped.

10-4. I hear ya. I'll happily wave or give a thumbs up to any other Jeep driver on the road. I'm no snob.

Its just that when your selling a well built street/crawler, and the guy is talking to you about blue book value, is offering 1500 last then your asking price, cause " all the other Jeeps that are as old as yours, are go'n for that much". I gets frustrating.
                    I'm better now.

                    I'll stop

                    Happy Jeep'n. Joe
