• Another Newbie here

Hey guys, my name is George Lopez (really). I am out of Huntington Beach, Ca.
The last time I owned a Jeep was in high school about 20 years ago.
Picked up my jeep a couple of months ago and want to start doing some offroading again. I don't know if I'm ready for body damage yet, but I am ready for some fun.
Here some details of my jeep:
4" springs
JKS arms
Acos adjusters
Adj. Trackbars
33" MTRs
D30 front
D44 w/ disc brakes rear.
Currie antirock
Poison Spyder sliders

It seems like a pretty decent setup. Alot better than my old CJ was.

I don't know how to add pics yet.

You're set up for some fun alright! Body damage will come naturally later on when you least expect it. Ask Scott (Dr. Dirty).
Welcome aboard, great to have you here.

Nothing against CJs ! That just what I had and could afford when I was in High School. If I knew then, what I know now.....I would still own it. 304, turbo 400, full size axles.
I was an idiot for selling it !

In case you're wondering, we're all really good friends and nobody REALLY cares about your headlights.

Unless you were a chick...but that's a whole other thread.

You guys seem like a great bunch of people. Can't wait to try the jeep out and meet you guys. I would like to start out on easier to moderate trails before you guys throw me into the difficult sh*t.

The weekend of the 10th, I'm going up to Santiago Canyon and doing the main divide road up to Ortega Hwy. I know it's an easy trail but I want to test the jeep out and double check and tighten everything afterwards before I do a longer, harder trail.

it's not a tough trail. It's more fire roads type. I just want to try the jeep out. You are more than welcome to come along. It's basically where the 5 FWY and the 55 FWY meet. Thats where it starts.
Here is a link of the trail with a little write up.
