    Hey all, newbie from Australia!!!!!!

    Hey guys and gals, im Chris from Coffs Harbour, NSW, Australia.

    i got a modded up XJ and a fairly standard CJ8 Laredo here is a couple of pics!!!

      Welcome Yumpet. Nice Jeeps. I'm wondering about the hard top on the CJ8. I've never seen one like it before. Is it a "standard" factory top in Australia?

              Welcome to MJR. I bet there is some awsome wheeling down there. I have alwayse liked the scramblers. I would also like to know if that hard top is an OEM?

                        Yeah the metal hard top is a standard variant in Australia, its called a overlander

                          That makes sense. Jeep would have been competing against the British built Land Rover. Even the Jeep model name sounds close to it.

                          Which is more popular in Austraila, the Land Rover or Jeep?

                            the land rover and jeep i would say are about par

                            there is more nissan patrols and toyota landcruisers here then any other 4X4
