  • Another Newbie

Hi All. Rob from Ridgecrest Ca here. New to this site but not to Jeeps, 4X4's and getting whatever I'm driving dirty!

I currently have an '06 Commander daily driver and occasional trail rider (as much as a stock Commander can do anyway) I also have 3 kids and a wife with #4 in the oven....so I need that third row seat! I had an '05 Wrangler Unlimited but we outgrew it so it got traded in on the Commander.

Mods will happen when the budget permits.

I was at Bickle Camp 1-3-09 and I think I saw a bunch of you guys go by (in fact, I got in line for a bit before turning around and heading toward Schmidts Tunnel, never made it, ended up in Paradise valley and Last Chance Canyon!).

    Here's my Jeep

Glad to be here and maybe I'll see some of you on the trails (that'll be me on the by pass! LOL!)

Thanks for the welcome! Yeah, I wheel my Commander (when I get the chance) I know not many get dirty but mine sure does (living a mile from the nearest paved road helps)

              Posted some vids on youtube...

Jeeps---anyone can wheel in a Jeep... that Chevy minivan there--that's what I'm talkin' about! Have you ever been in a 1-ton 2wd Ford van with 7 other dudes and a nut-job driver goin' balls to the wall and getting air on a jacked up fire trail? Now that's some fun! Just tell the insurance company (and your wife) that it got stolen.

Anyway, welcome to the forum. Think about what I said, huh? The kids will love it!

It's that crazy guy in the rental van. That whole trip had me laughing when you posted it.
