  • My 4x4 School Bus

    Here is my newest creation. This is my dirt bike carrier/off the beaten path camper. It was originally a working school bus in new york used to pick up students in the rural snowy area's and has been converted into a off-road camper. Paint isnt that great right now but will be painted camo soon.

    91' GMC 1 Ton Van Chasis with full school bus conversion.
    4 Wheel Drive
    4 inch lift
    33x12.50 AT's soon to be 33in Swampers
    NP 205 Transfer case
    Rebuilt 350 and Tranny
    Working School Crossing Lights and all other accesories
    Wired 120 Outlets
    30 gallon electric sink and shower
    Propane Stove
    External and Internal Outlets
    Blackout Curtains
    2 Beds with storage Under them, room for 2 dirt bikes with tie downs and both beds become one for a full size bed
    Rediculous Front Bumper with winch mount
    Nice Stereo and ton of other stuff

            might want to get the kids out of the room, this extreme flex might scare them :omg:




            Right now its got some very old and very stiff rusty springs with blocks so it has very little travel. Plan is to get some 1 ton Offroad Design 3 inch springs front and rear and get rid of the blocks. Along with some new shocks it should ride and flex much better

                    Offroad Design has great products. I have the rear hangers on my 74 as well as front steering reinforcement, and a couple other things. Good choice, to get rid of those blocks!

                      I think with some cutting some 38's will fit nicely.:geek:
