    a deal that couldnt be passed up so if any of you guys have extra yj parts laying around it needs a new motor and ring gear for the front end so now i am on the hunt
    so if you guys have any yj stuff laying around you dont need let me know

      its a 4.0 manual but i want to convert it to a auto

        i pulled the plugs and filled the radiator and the number 3 cylinder filled with water and was pouring out the spark plug whole

          How much did you pick it up for ...???
          Also, what is the gear set that you need ? should be a metal tab on the diff cover...yes I have a set of Dana gears laying around.

              I had great success with S & S Remanufactured Engines. They are located in Spokane WA 7 yr/70,000 mile warranty. They are easy to find online.

                          i have some springs if you are interested.
                          for the engine, i'd look eon ebay and replace the damn thing.

                            Man, that was a deal you couldn't pass up. I would've snagged that too. (Much to my wife's dismay)

                              What is the gear ratio? I got a 3.73 gear set for a
                              Dana 30 that you can have
