Hey Guys/Gals, Chris here.
looks like a a cool forum. I have a couple XJS, one is a 2000(4.0/AW4/242) with Full Traction long arms, D44s w 4.88. front and rear with a full detroit in back and a tru-trac in front. The other is a race truck I am building for the Jeepspeed series, it has full traction longarms also, 91 4.0/aw4/231 with a 35-spline ford 9" rear with 5.29s and spool, exploder disk brakes, and trussing back and top, 32-gallon fuel cell, Swayaway 2.5" x 10" travel 3-tube bypass shocks in front and 3.0" x 14" trvl in the back, 2" x 4" trvl hydro bumps front and rear. Fully caged(1.75" x .120" DOM), custom dash etc.
I live in Ventura, am happily married with a 2-yo daughter and a 4-month old son. I work full time but still find time to hang with the family and work on the truck, I love fabricating and welding but only because it is a hobby, don't think I could handle doing it for a living, kudos to those that can.
I have been busy trying to get the race truck finished so until then just here to keep up and maybe wrangle up some help when we are ready to race as it seems like lots of folks out in the dez areas.
Thanks all.
race jeep(yes we do have a 4wd front also for the rougher courses):
