Here's a pic that rat patrol took of me dangling off of FishPOET's winch line on a "Difficult but not Extreme" section of Wall Street Overlook. Sliding sideways down a cliff sounds pretty extreme to me.

    Hi All,
I'm Shad. I live in Orange, CA with my girlfriend Colleen. I drive a green 1993 Jeep Wrangler with...
    4.0L engine
    AX-15 tranny
    NP231 t-case
    D30 front axle
    8.8 rear axle
    4.10 gears
    33x12.50R15 M/Ts
    Rusty's 4" lift springs
Rusty's 1" lift greaseabe boomerang shackles
    Bilstein 5100 shocks
    MORE shock extension
    135W KC Daylighters
Smittybuilt chrome tubes all the way around (came with it)
hardtop and full doors most of the time

It's my daily driver so I try to keep it as roadworthy as I can but still be able to tackle some moderate obstacles. It's currently an open diff in front and limited slip in the rear which is ideal for highway, but not so much off-road. I'll probably end up with some sort of selectable locker front and rear but I haven't picked one out yet. I might go with OX or ARB or a combo of some different technologies for a better dual-use setup. A good winch is DEFINITELY in my future.

That was a fun day! I'm with you . . . that hill sure looked extreme looking down from the top anyway! I think you're safe calling it extreme when the majority of the group opts to have a winch line attached to avoid flipping Look forward to wheelin' with you again!
That which does not kill me postpones the inevitable.
