Hey, thanks for the welcome! Yep Lucerne is a great place to live and play! Those early broncos were great! I can't remember why I traded it in for a POS Chev truck way back when.

Hey neighbor! I see you're in Hesperia, when I get my CJ back on the road or off road I should say, how about a day run around the desert?? The new engine being installed should be done by next weekend....

Cj's are cool! Thanks for the welcome, I've had the CJ for about a year now. I missed out so much in life waiting all these years before finally buying one!

                          Roger,

Thanks for flagging me down today (Sunday) in Lucerne. It was nice to meet you in person as well as to be recognized flying down the road. We cruised trails for 6 hours on Sat and then almost 8 hours today. I'll let you know about Friday, but for sure I'm looking to wheel Saturday as well as Sunday. You will have to share some of those "SECRETS" that were not in the book.

                            Mitch,

You discribed your Jeep and with the "MYJEEPROCKS.COM" decal on your front window, I had no trouble figuring out it was you. BTW, nice rig you drive and good to meet you. Weren't you just a bit nervous about some guy in a dingy Jeep flagging you down? ;^)

Now about those secret places not in Bill's books...... I ain't sayin'!!

Kodiak Spirit: I bought my hard top from a guy in Silver Lakes. I can't remember the street name. It was on the southern end -
