Hello group,
I'm the new member and was asked to say a little about myself. Well here goes:
I live and play in Lucerne Valley CA since 1982.
I work for the City of Victorville at SCLA (Old George AFB)
I currently have a '85 CJ7 that I'm in the middle of installing a remanufactured 6 cyl engine. It's pretty stock. I will be putting 4" lift kit on after I get the engine project done. It has stock Jeep chrome wheels with 31x10.5 BFG All Terrains. It has a pair of KC daylighters, hard top & hard doors for winter. & a bikini top for summer. I have a full cloth top but I don't use it.
I also have a Crew Cab '04 Nissan Titan 4x4 I pull a "lifted" Prowler Trailer with.
I bought my first 4x4 in 1974 - a brand new Bronco - owned 4x4's ever since, but the Jeep is by far my favorite 4WD I've ever owned. I'm enjoying fixing it up & customizing it.
Recent 4x4 trips:
Old mojave Trail ('06)
Pleaseant Canyon & South Park Canyon loop out of Ballarat ('06)
Rattle Snake Canyon - Catcus Flats ('07)
Numerous other day trips around the Mojave and San Bernardino NF. ('82- present!)
I'm married and have three adult sons, 2 out of three have 4x4's (hey, growing up in Lucerne - what would you expect??)
I'm also active in my church.
