  • Trail Run: Bee Canyon Truck Trail 5S07 - Sunday, April 3

My twin step grandsons just got their learners permits so I'm going to take them on a beginners run to Bee Canyon near Hemet on Sunday, April 3. I don't know how much practice they've had with a manual transmission and I want to give them some practice on the way to the trail, so we will be starting later than usual. Meet at the trailhead of the Bee Canyon Truck Trail (5S07) at 11:00 am. The trailhead is is 8.2 miles east of Hemet on CA-74. 33.738401, -116.826628

I almost ran that yesterday, but 5S15 took longer than expected, so we went home before going. I've run Bee Canyon a couple times a long time ago, but might join you.
If we aren't supposed to eat animals, then why are they made out of meat?

Not too many takers. Hope the run is still on.

Yes, we are still going. I hope someone else can go too -- in case we get stuck somewhere!

Would enter in Hemit and leave up by San Jacinto and drive home from there right? The trail itself doesn't look that long. More like a nice Sunday drive. I'm 80% sure I can make it.

I'm planning to take Bee Canyon Trail (5S07) to Indian Creek Trail (4S10 and 4S06) to Poppet Flat (about 15 miles on dirt). Then take CA-243 from Poppet Flat to Idyllwild (about 10 miles on pavement), and return via San Jacinto Ridge (5S09A and 5S09) to Bee Canyon and back to the start near Hemet (about 15 miles on dirt).

I think he means stuck in general as not wanting to be alone, it's an easy trail. I'll try to tag along.

With "student drivers" you never know what might break or where we might end up
