    Well,
What a weekend. The Victor Valley folks really put on a winner this past weekend. I was so busy trying not to flip the Rat that I took almost no pictures, but there was a professional photog (Thanks Shari) out there with two 35 mm cameras hanging around her neck who I know got some killer shots. BobO did some shooting too, but man, Bob, your spotting technique is really coming along. You did great this weekend; thanks for all of the help spotting and stacking, stacking, stacking, stacking...

Maxwell was there, and Dirtman, wish we would have spent more time hangin out. Glad you guys came.

When the pics start to come up ya'll see whu I b talkin bout. Thanks to VV for the great food, A-kickin raffle (I don't know where I'm going to put all this stuff)! and to the guy I traded the tires to. I hope you enjoy those as much as I'm enjoying those Rev111 fenders (Thanks REV guys for donating them, you rock!). And a big thanks to the guys at On The Rocks for the fantastic hospitality, the Sunbonnet run was great fun. Hope to wheel with you again soon. I don't remember your name, but the guy with the TJ that broke up on Sledge, let me know if the axles and ball joints worked for you. Enjoy them axles, they are brand newbies... I hope it got you down of the mountain and home safe. Andy, what can I say? I love wheeling with you and Shari. You two are awsome. Thanks for everything. That CJ ROCKS!
    Come on with the pictures...

    Kurt

I had a great time at the event- ran Sledge. This was my first time to Johnson Valley. I didn't know if I had a rig capable enough to do any of the trails there- I guess now I know. My Rock-it Man sliders took many a hit to the sides- especially the squeeze rock. I was really happy right about then with not having the stock Rubicon sliders.

It took about 7 hours to get roughly 20 rigs through. We had 2 CJ's get punctured radiators and a broken front axle on an LJ. A great group of people to wheel with made the extra time quite fun. The wind, however, on Saturday morning, was viciously coming up the canyon. I wasn't warm until 11am. I'm sure next year I'll bring a sweatshirt or heavy jacket and the temps will be in the 90's.

I won a pair of jackstands- on a purchase of only 10 ticket. I was happy- I usually never win a thing- but it was hard not to win since there were so many prizes.

Well what an awesome day on Saturday. I rode shotgun with Jesse (Kodiak Spirit)on Fisher (Fissure) Mountain. Wonderful run with rock gardens, rocky trails, some steep downhills and lots of beautiful views. There is a lot of history to this trail. We crossed over the Landers fault line at the mid point of the run. I took 140 photo's and should have some posted soon. Thanks to Jesse and all of the VV4W people.

Yeah, I see what you mean! It's the Moon; it was full and bright as a street light both nights.

I was parked by the ORW ez-up tarp. I was one of the few tent campers.

What did he not win, there was like five people winning everything.
He ended up winning the big prize which was 4 35" tires, he swapped for the Rev 111 fender set up. He won two other drawings. The best part of it was the ORW license plate frame sure to be a collectors item !!!!
