That depends. How's your driving skills, and your tolerance for body damage and loud banging noises? If body damage is not an issue then a stocker can do it, but you'll have to be between two capable jeeps (winches and tow hooks). Otherwise, this may be a bit too much. But there are plenty of good trails for stock Jeeps, so don't let that keep you from coming out and enjoying this kick ass spring weather.

JJ I may take you up on that. I'll keep you posted, need to get the heck out of town for a few days, plus it'd be good to wheel with you again.
            03 TJ. It'll go 65mph...can't complain.

Eh, doesnt sound like my kind of run just yet. I'd really like to avoid body damage where possible, and I havent gotten the skids on yet.

I'm not a real experienced offroad driver, but I have spent a lot of time offroad driving hummers and I have a pretty good natural instinct for choosing lines.

I like getting hummers too, but I digress ... I think that you have made the right choice => I would not do any off roading without rock sliders as a minimum. One bump and the cost of fixing a rocker panel exceeds the cost of a good pair of rock sliders.

I have been really happy with the ones from Rusty's Offroad [www.rustysoffroad.com] [I have his rocksliders, engine and transmission skid plate, transfer case skid plate and gas tank skid plate] and have heard/seen good things about the ones from Kevin's Offroad [www.kevinsoffroad.com].

Attachment points front and rear as well as a full sized spare are requirements for offroading.

                      x3 on kevins.

rockrails were my first mod and always my first suggestion to others.

I can only think of maybe 10 trails in Big Bear that a stock WJ might get some damage on. That only leaves about 100 more to explore
