Crown King Trail

Since moving back to the Southbay Area in 2005 I was wondering if anybody has been up the trail to Crown King Arizona recently from the backside of Lake Pleasant. The last time I was up that trail was in 2002 and it was getting fairly eroded and washed away. Any feed back would be appreciated. We are planning a run up it May 24th-28th(Memorial Day Weekend) and maybe run some of the Senator Highway while we are there. Anyone else that may be interested in riding along is welcome to join us.

I went through there last October or November. It took us the better part of a day to get 20 some odd rigs through it. Only one spot gave us alot of trouble...right at the bottom of the hill where the big step is.

More recently, a friend took a Jeep compass through there when the Jeep marketing guys were in AZ...it gave them very little trouble (but I wasn't present, so take it for what it is worth).

Have fun...I'll be playing tourist that weekend with relatives...
