Looks like that Jeeper should have listen to Clint Eastwoods advice. ( A mans got to know his limitations). Looks like he found it. Cool didn't know there were that many Land Rovers in Calif. Where are you guys out of? Kevin.

      Thanks for sharing! Good pics!
If we aren't supposed to eat animals, then why are they made out of meat?

I participate in the SCLR.org club here in SoCal.

There are lots of Land Rovers in California, but sadly, only a small percentage take them out into the dirt. The rest of them get 22" chrome blingers :-)

The older Rovers, Classics, P38's, Disco I and Disco II's are seeing a lot more use off road these days because they are very inexpensive. You can get a decent '92 Classic with 100k miles for about $2000, and then another $5,000 in top grade improvements and you've got a very capable trail rig.

I of course, went the other route, and spent the money up front on the LR3, and then made small improvements for the off roading. My truck is a 25,000 mile a year daily driver, so I don't want to go balls out with the upgrades. Would love some longer shocks though! Sadly, they would have to be custom.

The fun part of all this, is that after Doran, my wife looked at me and said, "I want a Jeep".
I sure do love that woman!

Looks like a fun trail except for all this paving...

Hope you guys didn't do this and at least spent some time unstacking while you were there.

Found most of the obstacles that way...and after that last guy there (Max) went through, those stones were well distributed :-)

I completely understand! My wife looked at an obstacle last weekend that was pretty much a straight up climb and said "It doesn't look that hard". You gotta love that... and her!
